my bff becky has a couple of CUTE kids…they’ve been on this blog many times, and i’m sure they’ll continue to be on this blog for many years to come! anyway, j recently turned 2, and i thought it was the perfect age to try out a concept i’d been wanting to do. i’m seriously so, so, so proud of this idea/shoot. it turned out JUST how i hoped it would…
i’m only going to include a few teaser spreads, though we did do the entire alphabet. i just ordered the books for these, and i’m SO excited to see them. wouldn’t it be fantastic as a kid to learn your letters with pictures of yourself holding things that are important to your life?
if you’re interested in an alphabook session for your own little one…or know someone who might be, get in touch! it was lots of fun to do, and it produces a keepsake that j’s own kids are going to enjoy, i’m sure! (if he doesn’t go all tasmanian devil 2 year old on it and rip it or crayon it… :-D)
They ARE pretty cute! Great job on the photos and the book layout, Gwyn. The shoot was a lot of fun.
This is just a great concept!…and smart new package to offer!
Gwyn, this is GENIUS!!!
That is the most adorable book. Such a great way to help kiddos remember the alphabet with things that are important to them!
LOVE the pictures! What a great idea! I’ve thought of doing something like this scrapbook-style, but I get tired just thinking of it. 🙂 So, maybe J will need a little more time learning the letter “V.”
I love how it turned out! Scarf is my favorite. That FACE!
I LOVE this idea!
[…] me to photograph them just before the arrival of their babies. (you’ve seen becky on here many times before…) yesterday i had the privilege of going to cathedral park with carrie + lance. […]
